What a surprise! Chris McFarland, avid sailor and retired yacht broker from America came to stay at Casa Espalamaca for 3 days. As he got the grand welcome tour he literally flipped when spotting our Green Egg XL BBQ. Here’s why:

“In 1996 one of my clients gifted me a Green Egg in Orange Beach Alabama. I had the Green Egg outside my kitchen door for 10 years and used it 3 times per week for family and friends. When moving to Mexico Beach Florida, I of course brought my beloved Green Egg with me. Sadly, in 2018, CAT5 Hurricane Michael destroyed Mexico Beach entirely. The Green Egg disappeared with my house and all belongings. Missed ever since, I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw a grown up version at Casa Espalamaca. Green Egg XL. I spent two of my 3 days stay cooking on it while enjoying incredible panoramic views way above the horizon. Safer than a beach!”
