Living on our 37ft Najad sailboat TISN, safely docked at Horta Marina, we are now bound to fly back to Minnesota and before leaving the island we opted to stay at Casa Espalamaca for turning our departure into a proper farewell festivity. One runs out of words trying to describe the beauty, energy and tranquility of this secluded, private estate. It is simply magnificent. Sven and Tara were the most accommodating hosts I have ever experienced and I have travelled the world. The sauna, the Jacuzzi, the showers, the kitchen and above all: the incredible views this is a truly stunning place. We invited 4 friends to a green egg XL BBQ fest. None of them have ever been up there and they were blown away by the house and Chris’s BBQ. More!
